Closed Captioning/Subtitling & Audio TranscriptsThis service produces Section 508 ADA compliant, properly formatted closed captioning for your audio and/or video media that is perfectly synchronized with the original media. Closed captioning is formatted to adhere to industry closed captioning standards and WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards. An SRT file (otherwise known as a SubRip Subtitle file) is a file that contains critical information regarding subtitles, including the start and end timecodes of the closed captioning text to ensure the subtitles match the audio, and the sequential number of subtitles. It is important to note that a SRT file is used alongside video or audio -- it does not also include the video or audio being closed captioned. SRT files can be used in video hosting portals (such as YouTube, Vimeo), web-based learning management products (such as Captivate, Thinkific, Teachable), transcripts for audio podcast (such as Spotify, SoundCloud, Apple, Stitcher, Google Podcast), social media portals (such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter. All closed captioning is in English (US).
